Following on from a clean bill of health for the all the bees last Friday, today Stephen and I prepared for the arrival of four queens, to be introduced next Saturday at the apiary session.
The candidates for succession are Hive 10, 9, 8 and 5.
As usual Hive 10 was very feisty, and Hive 9 was also that way inclined.
So we have four nucleus hives with frames of brood and food on top of each of the relevant hives.
This session will be at the Wexham apiary, as there is till work to be done at Tarbay.
